Marine Investigation for new Mine Site on Winchelsea Island

In December we took to the seas with GHAC, Sitzler, DTLS and Quaternary Resources to undertake a preliminary investigation of 4 potential sites for jetties and marine facilities for a proposed manganese mine that is being developed on Winchelsea Island to the north of Groote Eylandt. The investigation involved vibracoring, geotechnical boreholes and geophysics.
