In August we travelled to the Kimberley to undertake a ground investigation for a small studio school on land near Windjina Gorge. The investigation comprised, augered boreholes, PANDA testng to establish soil strength profiles as well as permeability testing as part of a Site & Soil Evaluation to AS1547. The scenery was spectacular and the return trip involved a detour to bypass 30,000 litres of diesel burning in a tanker on the Great Northern Highway.
